I was surprised by how much I liked Avatar. There were definitely some silly, cliche parts to the story, but I’m a sap and caught myself getting teary in a couple parts. Being a greenie, I also got sucked into the environmental subtext.

Poor Sweets -- I think I would’ve cursed if my bday was announced over the PA system too! Hope he was able to enjoy the rest of the evening. And hope you guys enjoy bday celebration #2.

My parents went on New Year’s Eve and my dad said it was great, but “because it was in 3D and because it was on New Year’s Eve, it was $13.50! In [small town where I grew up]! I mean, I’ve seen the Stones for less than that!”

It made me laugh.
