I actually watched the Superbowl and so did my husband. That is the most football I've ever seen him watch! Of course, we watched it because my brother wanted to. But still.

I thought the commercials were pretty lame. The only one I thought was clever was the human bridge Budweiser spot. I totally forgot about the anti-choice commercial and must have missed it.

I was really torn about who I wanted to win. Part of me really wanted the Colts to but the win to bring home in New Orleans was sweet to see too. The NO quarterback with his son was so sweet.

The highlight of my weekend was not watching the Super Bowl.

JK :-)

I actually had a really good weekend with lots of hanging out with old and new friends, the new beau and a lot of laughs with my Mom (it'd been a while).

Oh poor Somi! My dog gives me the same look every time I leave so I completely understand.

My highlight was making a new contact at a party Friday who could be quite helpful in my next career move. I was brave enough to admit to this person that I knew who he was and it went really well!

Mmmm, pork chili - sounds divine! I love soups, stew, chilis, etc. Def my fave leftovers to bring to work!

I went to a Superbowl party but only stayed for the half & can't say I watched a single play. I sat at the kitchen counter with my friend and chatted away. Her husband came over and teasingly alerted us to the fact that we were missing the biggest game of the year. We didn't care of course and kept right on chatting! It was wonderful, especially since I had seen her the night before at my birthday party - seeing a good friend 2 days in a row is sadly pretty rare now that was are all busy adults!

Sounds like you had a busy/fun weekend! I can just picture the looks SoMi was giving you!!
